Jonathan comes from a Teaching family, both parents and all four of his siblings all became career long teachers.
As the only non-teacher who instead became a Chartered Accountant Jonathan is certainly the black sheep of the family!
However, he has over 30 years experience in public practice, international Financial Services, Pharmaceutical wholesale/retail/manufacturing, Telecoms and Ecommerce industries.
Jonathan specializes in Commercial Finance Roles at Board level, has worked with a number of private equity owned businesses.
As head of UK reporting, planning and commercial decision making Jonathan was responsible for reporting, planning, budgeting, forecasting, strategic planning, commercial review and approval for a £5b turnover, vertically integrated business group with 19,000 employees.
Working with private equity and corporate partners Jonathan has worked at a senior level on multi-million pound deals both corporate acquisitions, sales and mergers. Negotiating deals, performing financial due dilligence, commercial and legal review and working with sales room data.
In terms of start ups, Jonathan helped to create multi million pound businesses in nursery care, international health and beauty ecommerce, complex international corporate structres optimised for multi-jurisdictional finance and a multitude of commercial ventures with a wide range of corporations in the UK, Europe, the USA, the Middle East and Asia

After a succesful career in the Commercial world Gemma moved into teaching where she has gained 22 years of experience in teaching, initially in state funded schools and for the last 20 years in a top tier Private school.
